Our Team
Established in 1981 as Hunter Douglas Metals, Tempo Global Resources was created in 2019 when management concluded the purchase of the company from the Hunter Douglas Group.
Management
George Ribet: President
George Ribet joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 1991 as the Vice President of Trading and was named President in 1996. Prior to joining Hunter Douglas Metals, Mr. Ribet served as Head Aluminum Trader of Commercial Metals Company. In 2019, Mr. Ribet led the management group responsible for the buyout of Hunter Douglas Metals from the Hunter Douglas Group. Mr. Ribet previously served as Chairman of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Aluminum Committee. Mr. Ribet holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University.
John Fife: Commercial Vice President
John Fife has served as the Commercial Vice President since 2012. Mr. Fife joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 1993 and has had responsibilities in metal control, transportation, risk management, purchasing, and sales over his 26 years with the company. Mr. Fife holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University- Bloomington.
Traders
Daniel Arnstein
Daniel joined Tempo Global Resources in 2020. Prior to joining the company, Daniel oversaw non-ferrous metal sales at United Milwaukee Scrap. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas.
Calvin Casper
Calvin joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 2016 and has had responsibilities in transportation, metal control, and quality control. Calvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Brian Daly
Brian joined Tempo Global Resources in 2023 and is a Trader in the Coil Department.
David Gilbert
David joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 2013 and has had responsibilities in transportation, metal control, and quality control. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Jeff Goldstone
Jeff joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 2004 and has had responsibilities in transportation, metal control, and quality control. Jeff is currently a Trader in the Coil Department. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University.
Peter Jacobs
Peter joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 2009 as a Trader. Prior to joining the company, Peter served as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch and Wise Metals, holding responsibilities in risk management, trade finance, and metal control. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
Jordon Maloni
Jordon joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 1999 and has had responsibilities in transportation, metal control, and quality control. Jordon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown College and an MBA from The Keller Graduate School of Business Management.
William Richardson
Will joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 2007 and has had responsibilities in transportation, metal control, and quality control. Will is currently a Trader in the Coil Department. Will holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
Operations
Amy Bedka: Controller
Amy joined Tempo Global in 2019. Prior to joining the company, Amy served as the Controller of MCcoyz Graphics and TriVista Plastics. Amy has held numerous roles in Tempo’s accounting department and has served as the company's Controller since 2024. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Michael Murphy: Director of Transportation
Michael joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 2007 and has held various roles in both domestic and international logistics. Prior to joining the company, Michael was the International Manager at Arbon Steel and worked in logistics at Hanjin Shipping. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University.
Brittany Kanz: Supply Chain Director
Brittany joined Tempo Global Resources in 2021. Prior to joining the company, Brittany held various roles in Supply Chain at Aleris Corporation and Domtar Paper Company. Brittany holds a Master’s Degree from Cleveland State University and Bachelors of Science and Arts degrees from The Ohio State University.
Andrew Heinen: Quality Control Manager
Andrew joined Hunter Douglas Metals in 2017 and has had responsibilities in transportation and metal control. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
